Be The Change +

Thank you so very much for your willingness to volunteer and participate in our 6th Annual Winter Gear, Coat & Clothing Drive for our friends experiencing homelessness in Denver. We are so very grateful and thankful to our 45 apartment community partners who have placed a donation box at their communities to collect our much needed winter gear for those in need this holiday and winter season.

We would also love to give our friends at Denver Community a HUGE THANK YOU for opening their doors and providing us with the loving and welcoming space for our friends in need. They have been so gracious enough to partner with us for the last 6 years and we are so very grateful and thankful for our partnership

We would also love to thank The Network Coffee House, All Souls Denver, Joshua Junction and Bus Stop Ministries for helping us get the word out to our friends in need. All clothing, coats and gear not distributed on 12/7 will be given to these organizations and The Samaritan House in Denver.

Below are the details for the volunteer opportunities at our event on Saturday 12/7/24.

Friday - 12/6/24 - 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Our volunteers will set up the tables and chairs for our event at Denver Community Church and receive the donations being delivered and size, sort and organize the donations in preparation for the distribution the following day on Saturday 12/7.  

Saturday - 12/7/24 -   9:00 AM - 1:30 PM - Our volunteers will cook and prepare the food, serve the food and help distribute the clothing at Denver Community Church.  We will also need volunteers to help pass out more flyers around Cap Hill, Downtown & Uptown to get more people to come to our event. We will start serving the food and distributing the winter gear at 12:00 PM.  Our volunteers will arrive at 9:00 AM in preparation for our event.  We should be done by 1:30 PM after breaking down the tables & chairs, cleaning up and saying our goodbyes.
